Confused by Data Pump? Yeah… same.

It is not just you. This stuff is often harder than it looks

Hi! I’m Alejandro Diaz

I work with Oracle databases, mostly around Data Pump, Migrations, Patching, and Upgrades.
And I have been confused by all of it at some point.

This is not a “do this or everything breaks” kind of blog.

It is more like this.:

“This tripped me up. Here’s what’s actually going on.”

If you have ever looked at a Data Pump error and thought “I have no idea what this means”, or just did not know where to start, you are in the right place.
